Regional Kanga 8's Cricket

On Friday 24th November, 20 Year 5/6 students went to the Regional Kanga 8's Cricket at John Grey Oval in Mooroopna. Despite the cold weather and rain, the teams played very well and represented St. Luke's with pride. Their ability to support each other and demonstrate a high level of sportsmanship was wonderful to watch. This was the first time St. Luke's has been represented at Cricket. Thank you to Tim Few for his assistance coaching the Boys team on the day.

Girls: First game had a bye. Second game against St Mary’s Mooropna, - lost by 20 runs. Third game against Yarrawonga College, - won by 15 runs. The final played off against Yarrawonga College for 3rd and 4th place, - we lost by 1 run.

Boys: First game against St Bernards Wangaratta, - lost by 50 runs. 2nd against Guthrie St and won by 60 runs, 3rd against Myrtleford and won by 20 runs, final played Yarrawonga College and lost by 20 runs.
