SPECIAL PERSON'S DAY

On Friday the 23rd of August from 9.45 am we will be holding our Special Person's event at the school. A formal invitation will be sent out on Friday that the children can use to invite their special person along to the day, but it might be a good idea to start the discussion on who they'd like to have along. It could be parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbours or friends. Someone they would love to share their morning at school with.

This year we will be sharing morning tea in the classroom, and we'll have a coffee van along for after the classroom activities, when the children can show their special person the playground. Last year's event was enjoyed by all, and we are sure this year will be no different!

RIPPSTOCK CARNIVAL: SAVE THE DATE!

Planning for our School Carnival is underway!

Make sure to keep Saturday 30th November free for an entertainment-filled, fun-loving, creative joyride at Ripponlea Primary School.

The Carnival kicks off at 12pm, ends at 6pm, and will include the best rides, food, stalls, activities, refreshments and entertainment this side of Orrong Road.

GET INVOLVED – Our School Needs Your Help:

We are a small school with a big heart, and we need all hands on deck to make this the best carnival and raise much-needed funds for the junior playground upgrade!

There are a bunch of ways you can get involved and help (a little or a lot) before the big day:

STALLS

If you are interested in leading a stall or donating and helping, pop your name in this spreadsheet and we will connect the dots.

Made in Ripponlea

If you can make it or bake it this is the stall for you. Whether it’s home-baked cakes, knitting, craft or preserves – this stall will bring all the best home-made goodies to market.

Every kid’s favourite stall and every parent’s opportunity to clear out – this 2nd-hand toy stall is all about sustainable living…we’ll keep the price point low so kids can shop for toys.

Plants and produce

Families can grab a bargain to green their home at this plant stall. We’ll be selling potted plants, fresh herbs and any other fresh produce keen gardeners want to donate.

Wine and choc toss

One of our most popular stalls, kids and parents toss a coin or hoop to win themselves a delicious treat (adults only for the wine obvs).

Keep your eyes on our socials over the coming months for more info. Look for the hashtag #Rippstock on our school Facebook and Instagram pages.
