5/6 Dandelion

Dear Parents and Carers, 

Welcome to Term 4! 

It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final term of the year — and what a special one it will be! The students of 5/6 Dandelion are filled with excitement as we begin a term full of celebration, reflection, and new adventures. 

This term, our Year 6 students will be preparing and presenting their Legacy and Leadership Speeches, a wonderful opportunity to showcase their growth, confidence, and leadership skills. We’ll also be taking part in Mock High School, where students will experience a taste of high school life and build important skills to help them feel ready for next year. As we count down the weeks, we’re also looking forward to some fantastic community events —including Fun Day and, of course, the Year 6 Farewell. These events are always filled with laughter, memories, and a few happy tears as we celebrate all that our students have achieved. Term 4 is all about making lasting memories and cherishing our final moments together as a class. We can’t wait to see our Year 6 students finish their primary school journey with pride, while our Year 5 students step up and continue to shine as the next leaders of our school. Here’s to a joyful, memorable and meaningful end to the year!
