Respectful Relationships

As part of the Wellbeing Curriculum implemented across Sandhurst Schools each fortnight we will share topics being covered in the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program.

Foundation

In Respectful Relationships, the Preps are discussing the topic of Problem Solving and basing their discussions around the question,” Can Everyone Play?”

Grade 1

In Respectful Relationships, the Grade Ones are learning about Problem Solving.  Students will describe the actions that help a team work well together and will describe how teamwork can help when people have problems.

Grade 2

In Respectful Relationships, the Grade Twos are learning about Facing their fears.  Students will identify situations that can cause fear or anxiety and will describe coping strategies they can use to help manage their anxiety.

Grades 3/4

In Respectful relationships, students will demonstrate their knowledge of emotions, use of positive coping and help-seeking strategies, the importance of persistence in help-seeking, and the use of appropriate sources of help.

Grade 5 and Grades 6

In Respectful Relationships, the Grade 5s and 6s are learning about positive coping skills and how to practise using their inner voice to talk kindly to themselves.
