The past 2 weeks, students have been busy in the kitchen! Last week was a 'Pizza Party' where we cooked tomato and basil pizza; silverbeet and leek pizza; potato and rosemary pizza; and roast pumpkin and fetta pizza. It was all delicious, but the votes were in favour of tomato and basil which we have shared here for you to try at home.

 

This week the menu consisted of focaccia art which was amazing to see students' creativity! We had an abundance of tomatoes and kale in the garden, so we made tomato and basil risotto and fettuccini and kale chips. The chips were seasoned with smoked paprika and salt and were very tasty!

 

A huge thanks goes to Don's Mum, Rachel for coming in for each kitchen class and assisting. We can't run these classes without support, so if you're available and would be interested in assisting, please let the office know. We would love to have you!
