🌟End-of-Year Message🌟

Families, Teachers, and Staff, I thought I would share my thoughts in this newsletter rather than the last one of the year (hoping more people will read it).

As we reach the end of another wonderful primary school year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to every member of our community. This year has been filled with learning, laughter, and countless moments that remind us why our school is such a special place.

To our incredible teachers and staff, thank you for your unwavering dedication, creativity, and care. Your hard work shapes our children’s lives in ways that last far beyond the classroom.

To our families and parent volunteers, your support is the heartbeat behind everything I am able to accomplish. Whether you baked for a fundraiser, helped at an event, joined the PFA, or simply showed up to cheer on the kids - every contribution matters, and I am truly grateful.

To our kids, I am so proud of all you have achieved this year, I have loved your curiosity, enthusiasm, and kindness.

This year, the PFA proudly supported many memorable events and initiatives, and I want to celebrate what we’ve accomplished together. None of it would have been possible without the teamwork and generosity of our school community and the members of the PFA that step up each and every event.

I would like to share that the PMPS School Fete this year raised $74K, which is $14K more than last year and overall the PFA and our wonderful school community has raised an incredible $170K for our school, which is $40K more than last year.

This is an amazing increase on last year and an incredible achievement.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my close friends. They are the people that come to each event, joined the PFA and held my hand through some hard times this year and last.

Kate Ross, Mia Kronborg, Annalie Darlington and Amy Buckley - you are my people and I couldn’t be the President I am without you. Thank you!!!!!

If you weren’t aware, the office staff at PMPS are also the absolute best! Kaye, Kate, Brooke and Tarryn - your support has been immeasurable this year and I have loved coming into the office to see your smiling faces!

Thank you for being my cheerleaders!!!!!

As we look ahead to a restful and (hopefully) warm summer, I want to thank you, the families of PMPS, once again for your friendship and positivity throughout the year.

Wishing all of your families a safe, happy break and to those moving on to new adventures, I send my warmest congratulations and best wishes. I look forward to another fantastic year ahead!

On Friday 27th February 2026, head over to Garden City Reserve straight from school and enjoy watching your kids be drenched in colour while you get to catch up with old and new friends from PMPS.

The course will be clearly marked out with smiling faces along the course whose main goal is to douse them in colourful powder to ensure that they look like they have run through a beautiful rainbow by the time they cross the finish line.

Bring a picnic rug, hat, water bottle, sunscreen, white or light coloured t-shirt, sunglasses or goggles and get creative with accessories in your house colours!

There will be a sausage sizzle and soft drinks to purchase.

Tickets are $12 each for students and includes an afternoon snack.
