Boys to Men - Rite of Passage Program

Boys to Men Day was a memorable experience that encouraged me to think about growing up and taking responsibility. From the start, the atmosphere was positive, and I enjoyed many of the activities alongside the Senior School boys of Clayfield College.

The highlight for me was the session with Ben Russell on Empowerment ED. We discussed what it means to be a man. In this activity, we put on blindfolds and found our group members by listening for the same animal sound. Even without being able to see one another, we managed to cooperate, and I learned how important teamwork is.

Overall, the day gave me practical ideas I can use in everyday life. I will try to speak up when something feels wrong, and I will also try to support the people around me, just as my group members supported each other in all our activities. I'm grateful for the chance to reflect on these important topics.
