A Place to Belong
Welcome to Week 1. It has been wonderful to see everyone settling in with their new roommates and easing back into the familiar rhythm of boarding life.
Our Year 12 boarders are experiencing a mix of emotions as they approach the end of their formal schooling next Wednesday and move into tutorials and study block. Please be assured that a staff member will always be present in the Boarding House during the day while students are in-house. We are here to support our Seniors throughout their final term in boarding and look forward to sharing and celebrating this special farewell journey with them.
Supporting our boarders’ wellbeing through nutritious, balanced meals is always a priority. We are pleased to share Chartwells’ Term 4 menu, which can be viewed here.
Weekend Leave
A friendly reminder that your child should submit all leave requests through Orah by Wednesday evening. Please provide your approval by Thursday afternoon so our team has enough time to review and process each request.
Unfortunately, students whose leave has not been approved by Thursday afternoon will be unable to go on leave. Thank you for helping us ensure the process runs smoothly by approving your child’s leave on time.
Boarding Events and Celebrations
On Sunday evening we look forward to welcoming our new Year 7 boarders for 2027 who are joining us for Orientation Day.
Our first weekend of activities for the term are:

| Saturday 10 October | QGSSSA Badminton Senior Gala Day Years 10 to 12 |
| Sunday 11 October | Chermside shopping outing, 10:30am to 2:30pm Year 7, 2027 New Boarder Sleepover |
