An update on Fr Setefano

Unfortunately, Fr Setefano will temporarily be unable to minister in our parish due to an error in the processing of his visa application. Regrettably an error was made in the diocesan office which has resulted in Fr Setefano’s current visa not allowing him to work in Australia.  The diocese is now doing all that it can to submit the correct visa application but at present we don’t know how long it will be before Fr Setefano is allowed to resume his ministry with us.

This of course is very disappointing for us as a parish and for Fr Setefano himself. I know that he has already very much endeared himself to our community.

The good news though is that it is only a temporary setback and that as soon as the working visa is granted Fr Setefano will be able to resume his ministry among us.
