Year 1 Visit to Chesterfield Farm
Last Friday, our Year 1 students had a fantastic day at Chesterfield Farm. Students enjoyed a hands-on farm experience, including milking a cow, feeding the animals, visiting the nursery and taking a tractor ride around the paddocks. It was wonderful to see their excitement and curiosity as they explored the working farm and connected their classroom learning to the real world. A wonderful day was had by all!
A Kaleidoscope of Colour!
On Tuesday, 1st September was a truly colourful celebration as our Foundation and Year 1 students took to the stage for A Kaleidoscope of Colour!
For many of our youngest students, this was their very first concert, making it a particularly special occasion. With bright costumes, beaming smiles and plenty of enthusiasm, our little performers filled the stage with music, movement and magic.
Our Foundation students showed incredible courage as they stepped into the spotlight, while our Year 1 students performed with confidence, energy and plenty of sparkle. Together, they created a vibrant kaleidoscope of colour that delighted the audience from beginning to end.
A huge congratulations to all our students for being such brave, bright and brilliant performers! We are so proud of the joy, confidence and teamwork they shared.

The Little Mermaid!
What a splash the talented 5/6 students made when they took audiences under the sea for their spectacular production of The Little Mermaid on Tuesday, 8th and Wednesday, 9th September!
After weeks of rehearsing, singing, dancing, learning lines, organising costumes and trying to remember which way they were supposed to swim (we mean walk), our young performers finally took to the stage - and they absolutely rocked the boat!
Our 5/6 students worked incredibly hard to prepare for the show. They practised their singing, dancing, acting and stagecraft and showed enormous confidence performing in front of family, friends and the school community.
The two performances were a wonderful celebration of creativity, teamwork and the courage it takes to get up on stage and perform. The smiles, laughter and enthusiastic applause from the audience showed just how much everyone enjoyed the experience.
A huge congratulations to our amazing 5/6 cast and crew! You worked hard, supported one another and created a production that was truly something to be proud of.
Well done, everyone - you made quite a splash!
English as an Additional Language
In EAL (English as an Additional Language), learning opportunities are provided to further develop English language skills and vocabulary growth. Students are encouraged to engage in peer and group conversations, offer opinions and give or receive feedback. The students explore cultural differences and multilingual skills.
