Assistant Principal

Welcome back everyone.

We are now almost two weeks into Term 2 and everyone has settled extremely quickly back into normal routines.

There are many exciting events planned throughout this term which I am sure the students (and families) will enjoy. It is also an extremely important term for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills prior to the writing of Semester 1 student reports in June.

Morning lessons begin promptly at 9:00am so please ensure students have arrived by this time to prepare and be fully organised for the first lesson. We understand that there is the occasional time where students are late to school due to traffic or scheduled appointments, but otherwise it is expected that they are at school before the 9:00am bell.

National Walk Safely to School Day

National Walk Safely to School Day is being held on Friday 22nd May. This is a focused day to encourage students and their families to walk safely and regularly to school. The benefits of this include building confidence while being supported and supervised, improving concentration and establishing healthy habits and choices for our every day life. Being active before school is also linked to students being more focused, productive and supports the students' ability to perform in the classroom.

If possible please encourage and support your child/ren to participate by walking to school on the 22nd May in particular but also on a regular basis if it is possible to promote a healthy and active habit.

Teeth on Wheels

The Teeth on Wheels van visited our school last Thursday and Friday and will be returning this Friday as well.

Examinations and treatments provided to the students are determined by what was consented to on the registration forms.  All registered students will have been seen by the end of this week.
