Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Carers, Students and Staff,
Welcome back to Term 2. I hope all families enjoyed a restful break and that our students are returning refreshed and ready for another exciting and productive term of learning.
We have a busy and engaging term ahead. We look forward to celebrating Education Week in Week 5, which will provide a great opportunity to showcase the wonderful learning taking place across our school. In Week 6, our students will take part in National Simultaneous Storytime, joining schools across the country in a shared reading experience. Our Year 5/6 students are also eagerly anticipating their camp in Week 7 at Doxa Malmsbury, which promises to be a memorable experience filled with learning, challenge and fun.
A special highlight early in the term will be our Mother’s and Special Persons Morning Tea next Friday 8 May from 8:45am – 10:00am. We warmly invite all mums and special visitors to join us in the multi-purpose room for morning tea before heading into classrooms to participate in an activity with your child/children. We look forward to sharing this special time with our community.
As we begin the term, I would also like to remind families that school supervision does not begin until 8:45am. Students should not be dropped off unattended at the school gate prior to this time. For families requiring earlier care, our Before School Care program operates onsite each day. Please contact the school office for further information or to make a booking.
Thank you for your continued support. I look forward to a positive and successful term ahead for all members of our school community.
Kind regards,
Joanna Uzunovski
Principal
