Walk Safely to School

National Walk Safely to School Day will be celebrated on Friday, 22nd May 2026 (Week 5). This event aims to promote road safety, health, the use of public transport, and environmental awareness. Walking regularly is an excellent way to incorporate exercise into your daily routine.

We invite students and teachers from St Johns Park Public School to gather at St Johns Park Oval at 8:30am on Friday 22nd May 2026, for a group walk to school. Teachers will lead the walk, departing the park at 8:40am, and will model safe walking behaviours. Parents are welcome to join us and support the students during the walk. We will be giving away free tattoos on the day!

Please note that in the event of wet weather, the walk will be postponed.
