Grade Two Talent Show

What an incredible success our Grade Two Talent Show was! Our students did an amazing job sharing their talents, interests and skills with the Prep and Grade One students. We were so proud to see their confidence, creativity and enthusiasm shine throughout the performances.

A special congratulations to our amazing hosts, Mia and Nika, who confidently guided the audience through the show. Their enthusiasm and strong voices helped make the event such a wonderful experience for everyone.

Behind the scenes, our decoration and set-up teams worked hard to transform the space and create a special atmosphere for the show. Students demonstrated fantastic teamwork, creativity and responsibility as they prepared the stage, program posters and helped bring their ideas to life, even some special popcorn stands for the Grade 2 students.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our wonderful parents and families who supported the students at home. Whether it was practising performances, preparing props, helping students rehearse or simply encouraging them and building their confidence, your support played an important part in the success of the event.

Most importantly, the Talent Show provided our students with an opportunity to demonstrate confidence, courage and bravery. Many students challenged themselves to step outside their comfort zones, perform in front of an audience and share something that was special to them. Watching them overcome nerves, encourage one another and proudly take to the stage was truly inspiring.

The Talent Show was a wonderful celebration of the individuality, talents and strengths of our students. We are incredibly proud of the way our Grade Two students embraced the challenge, supported each other and showed that with courage and confidence, they can achieve amazing things. A huge congratulations to everyone who contributed to making the Talent Show such a memorable success!

Swimming Program

Our Grade Two students have been making wonderful progress throughout our swimming program. The program provides an important opportunity for students to develop their swimming skills, water confidence and safety awareness, while also building resilience and perseverance. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves, try new skills and keep practising when something feels difficult, helping them develop confidence in their own abilities.

Swimming also provides valuable opportunities for students to develop independence and organisational skills. Each session, students are responsible for managing their own belongings, including their towel, swimmers, goggles and clothing, as well as changing and preparing efficiently for the session. These routines encourage students to take responsibility for their personal belongings and develop greater independence. It has been wonderful to see our students growing not only as swimmers, but also as confident, resilient and responsible learners.
