Year 7 and Year 10 Family Information Evening - Tuesday 31 October

We are looking forward to meeting you on Tuesday 31 Oct at the Sports Gymnasium at Garrang Wilam Primary school, 2 Canvas St, Truganina. There are two session times available:

6.00 pm OR 7.15 pm

During this information evening we will be presenting on the College expectations, facilities, equipment and resources needed for learning and our uniform. You will also be introduced to some of the staff we have employed to support our new students.

State Wide Orientation Day 

On Tuesday 12 December all Year 6 students across the state have the opportunity of attending their secondary school to familiarise themselves with high school. We will be providing a half day opportunity for all our Year 6 into Year 7 students and all our Year 9 into Year 10 students. Our Orientation day will be held at Garrang Wilam Primary school. We will meet in the school gym and begin with a presentation from the Principal; hear a guest motivational speaker and then split into Year levels for more activities. The half day will conclude at 12.30 pm. Students will be dismissed at this time.

Our campuses will not be ready for handover by the 12 December so we cannot meet there. This half day will still begin to introduce all our students to our College values, expectations, staff members and each other. We will provide more information closer to the date. All our students will spend the first three days of Term 1, 2024 adapting to our new buildings and getting to know each other and their teachers.

Start Date 2024

All students will begin Term 1 on Wednesday 31 January 2024. Both Year 7 and Year 10 students will begin on that day . All students are expected at school no later than 8.45 am in correct school uniform. Please put this date into your calendars.
