French Poetry State Champions!

We are excited to announce that this year, we had two state winners in the Berthe Mouchette French Poetry competition. Louan Buisse from Year 4 competed against 61 native French speakers and was awarded 1st place in Victoria! Louca Buisse, also in Year 4, received a special mention from the judging panel, essentially being awarded 2nd Place! Bravo boys! 

On the 28th of November, we were delighted to attend the Alliance Française awards ceremony at St. Kilda Town Hall. Louan recited his winning poem in front of a large audience of fellow participants, parents and teachers. Then, both boys received their goody bags full of prizes. It was a really special evening and we are so proud of Louan and Louca for their outstanding achievement.
