Harmony Day

Our Grade 4 students recently played a special role in celebrating Harmony Day by organising and running a fantastic games session for the school community.

In the lead-up to the day, the students worked together as a cohort to brainstorm and select outdoor games that would encourage teamwork, inclusion, and harmony. Their goal was to create activities that brought people together and allowed everyone to experience the joy of playing and connecting with others.

Students got into groups and chose an activity to run and spent time preparing how to explain the rules clearly and guide others through the game. This gave them a chance to practise leadership, communication, and cooperation while working together toward a shared goal.

On Harmony Day, the Grade 4s put their planning into action. The playground was filled with laughter, teamwork, and community spirit as students from across the school joined in the games. It was wonderful to see our Grade 4 students confidently leading activities and helping to create such a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

We are incredibly proud of the way our Grade 4 students embraced the spirit of Harmony Day by bringing people together through play, kindness, and cooperation.
