SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB – ISSUE 8

Reminder that orders for Issue 8 of Book Club are due today, Friday 21st November by 4pm.

LIBRARY BORROWING & RETURNS

This week classes have attended their final borrowing sessions. Next week will be the last library session of the year, dedicated to the return of all outstanding books. It has been a pleasure to witness the enthusiasm of so many keen readers throughout the year. 

BOOK HOSPITAL

If you notice any damage to our library books when you are reading with your child, please leave a note of the damage in the front cover for your child to return to our BOOK HOSPITAL.

LIBRARY DONATIONS

A big thank you to the family of Emilia B – Year 2, who donated a wonderful assortment of books. Your contribution is greatly appreciated and will be enjoyed in our Library and across the classrooms.

Thank you to Larry Thompson (Zeppelin A - Foundation & Lucas & Noa – Year 6) who donated $200 towards new books for our Library. I was able to purchase a great variety of books - some from our popular series and others from exciting new authors our students can discover.

As the library will shortly be undertaking a stocktake, we kindly request that families wishing to donate books defer their contributions until the new year. We sincerely value and appreciate the generosity of our community in supporting our library.
