Vision and Hearing Screening – Prep to Year 2

In the last week of term, our school will be working with La Trobe University to provide vision and hearing screening for students in Prep to Year 2.

These screenings help identify any potential vision or hearing concerns that may impact learning, communication and overall wellbeing. The checks are brief, non-invasive (no eye drops are used), and will take place at school during school hours.

The screening will be conducted by final-year orthoptic and audiology students, under the supervision of qualified orthoptists and audiologists.

Participation is voluntary. If you would like your child to take part, please ensure you complete and return the consent form as soon as possible. Forms must be returned prior to the screening week.
