New - Colour Run Introduction
Hi everyone,
Our Major Fundraiser this year will be a School Fun Run, specifically a (Crazy Colour Day)!
The event will take place on Friday 14th November, which is going to be the best day of the school year for the kids. An obstacle course with various colour stations will be organised on the school oval for an afternoon of fun.
However, the most important part is making sure our school hits our fundraising goal of $25,000 for various initiatives that will enrich the students school experience including:
- Graduation Stoles
- Picnic table rejuvenation
- School and House Banner rejuvenation
- Safety netting behind school goals to enhance safety to all students and sporting equipment as well as car protection in the carpark
And…. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
On Monday 6th October (first day of term 4) we joined assembly, presented a video and handed out booklets and a letter for the students to take home. Teachers also received a class kit which had a poster for the classroom wall.
We will be holding challenges for the 5 weeks from launch to event day and it would mean a lot if you can all get involved by spreading the word and talking about it with others! As our goal is $25 000 we will be celebrating when we hit each milestone of $5,000 by nominating a lucky teacher to be slimed.
So, with that in mind we are kicking off the fundraising with a profile competition in Week 1 - this will set each class up for success, and the great news is the profiles don’t even need any money raised on them as yet! The class that has the most profiles set up by the end of the 1st week will all get an icy pole!
And in the second week of fundraising, we will hold an incentive week. Every student that raises $25 will go into a draw to win one of 10 subway lunch prizes.
And in the third week of fundraising, we will hold a Wristband Competition. These will be handed out in class, so your students go home wearing the wristband. The parents will scan the QR Code to login or sign up and enter the unique wristband code into the online draw, for a chance to win a $500 Prize Credit!
If you have any questions regarding the School Fun Run, please don’t hesitate to ask myself or one of our P&F school representatives.
We look forward to a fun and successful fundraiser for the school and all the fun along the way for students
Kind Regards
