Cunderdin 8 Cross-Country (Cundy 8)

On Wednesday afternoon, students lined up in front of the Recreation Centre, ready to take on the College's iconic 8km cross-country course. The race sends competitors out along the dirt roads that wind through the College's farm and paddocks, looping the full circuit before returning to the starting point — a route that is as challenging as it is familiar.

There was no shortage of personality at the start line, with a variety of outfits and costumes adding to the occasion. The atmosphere was energetic as students set off along the dirt track, but the effort required to cover 8km of open paddocks quickly made itself known.

Congratulations to Davin, who crossed the finish line in an impressive 30 minutes and 17 seconds to claim the boys' race, and to Temily, who won the girls' race in 46 minutes and 31 seconds. Both performances were a credit to their fitness and determination.

Well done also to Toby, Jyse, Dean, Shaie, Phoebe, Rani, and Alyssa for completing the entire course — every one of them should be proud of what they achieved on the day.

The Cundy 8 is a genuine tradition at Cunderdin Ag College and a real test of character. To every student who completed the race – Well done!
