PYP Corner: 2026 PYP Evaluation

As part of our commitment to the IB community, we are participating in our planned IB-PYP Evaluation throughout 2026.

There are three parts to the Evaluation:

• Preliminary Review
• Self-study Questionnaire
• School Visit - October 2026

This process focuses on how we are embedding the IB Programme Standards and Practices across our school.

Self Study Questionnaire 

Last term the school community participated in the Self-Study Questionnaire. Throughout a process of reflection, inquiry and goal setting, we considered ‘What the PYP looks at Mount View Primary School.' 

Thankyou to the families who provided us feedback through our Google Survey. We appreciate and value your perspectives and input, guiding our future directions.

Our Term 2 Whole School inquiry, focussed on deepening our collective understanding of The Learner Profile and International Mindedness. 

Evaluation Visit

During the week of 19 - 21st October, 2026, we will be welcoming our PYP Evaluation team to Mount View Primary School, as part of our School Visit. During this time, we will be sharing, celebrating and considering growths and strengths of the Primary Years Programme at MVPS. 

The Evaluation team will meet with:

• staff
• students
• leadership
• members of the parent/carer community

We will be reaching out to families who may wish to share their feedback and experiences as part of this process.
