Principal's Message

NAPLAN

I am pleased to share that our Year 3 and Year 5 students  performed strongly in NAPLAN this year, achieving results above similar schools, network schools and the state in every assessed area.

Thank you to our dedicated teachers who work tirelessly to support and challenge students in their learning. Their commitment and expertise make a difference every day.

I would also like to acknowledge the important role our families play in supporting their children's education. We greatly value the strong partnership we have with our community.

While these results are certainly worth celebrating, it is important to remember that NAPLAN is a snapshot of student performance on a particular day. Our teachers assess student learning throughout the year and use this information to support every student to succeed. The progress our students make every day,  in their learning and wellbeing, remains our primary focus.

Under The Sea- Student Art Show

We are very excited about our upcoming art show to showcase student artwork that is inspired by the ocean. All families are invited to attend from 3pm-6pm on Thursday 3rd of September. We will also have a BBQ after school on this day so please come along and enjoy this special community event.

Planning for 2027

We have started planning for 2027 so please contact the school office as soon as possible if  your child is in Prep-Year 5 and they will attend another school for next year.

The official  Department of Education 2027 Prep Enrolment process has closed. Please contact the office if you would like to enrol your child for next year. We ask that you do that as soon as possible to assist us with planning.

Lost Property

Our lost property area is very full at the moment. If your child has misplaced any items, please come and check the lost property area located near the prep classrooms.

When looking through lost property, please only take items that are clearly labelled with your child's name.

This is also a timely reminder of the importance of clearly labelling all school uniform items, particularly jumpers and jackets. Named items are much easier to return to their owners.
