Senior School Subject Selection

Our Year 10 and 11 students are continuing their Senior School Subject Selections for 2027. Following the Senior School Information Night and Subject Expo, all families were emailed information to support conversations at home.

Students have now had or booked their appointment with our Careers and Pathways Practitioner, Jo Macklan, and parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend alongside their child.

A reminder that Subject Selection Forms are due on Wednesday 5 August. These choices play an important role in shaping each student’s final years of secondary schooling and future opportunities, so ongoing conversations at home remain incredibly valuable.

Learning Celebrations - Music in Focus

This week in Music, our ensembles have been working with real focus and energy. The flute choir has been rehearsing two of their end‑of‑year performance pieces (a Bourrée and a Tchaikovsky work) building confidence and refining their ensemble sound. Our senior band has also been hard at work, fine‑tuning their big finale piece, Byzantine Dances, and bringing together all the detail that makes a performance feel polished and powerful.

A huge well done to all students involved for your commitment, teamwork, and the pride you bring to your music learning!

World Day of Friendship

As part of World Day of Friendship on Thursday 30 July, students wrote letters of appreciation to their friends and peers. This activity encouraged everyone to pause, notice, and celebrate the friendships, connections, and peer supports that make our school community feel safe, positive, and kind.

Thank you to all students who took part. Your letters were thoughtful, heartfelt, and a real reflection of the strength of our community. We received an overwhelming number of messages, and because of this abundance, letters will be handed out at our next Year Level Assemblies.

Thank you for bringing so much kindness and positivity to this celebration.
