Cockatoo Class

Mr. Lee

Who knew we had so many budding chefs in our classroom!

During the week, students participated in some culinary planning, preparing and cooking for the class and staff. Students produced sushi, fried rice and rice-paper rolls, all of which were absolutely delicious! So tasty that Mr Lee helped himself to thirds.

As we near the end of the year, it becomes a nervous, yet exciting time for our Grade 6 students. All Grade 6 students have a transition day on Tuesday next week with their chosen secondary college, as well as an orientation day on the 9th of December. Tuesday the 9th of December will also be the day that Alvie PS holds its 'Step-up Day', which will see our Grade 5 students become Grade 6 students for the day.

Finally, for the families of our Grade 6 students, planning of the final details for our Grade 6 graduation night on Wednesday 17th of December are underway, with information about the night coming out very soon.
