Grade 6 Graduation

Last night we formally farewelled 29 remarkable individuals who are now ready to embark on the next stage of their lives and transition to secondary school. We have loved having these wonderful students at LEPS and watching them grow and mature. We have laughed with them and at times shared a few tears, just as happens in all families.

We know they are ready for the next stage of their education journey and wish them every success. As long as they continue to work hard they will set up bright futures for themselves.

Thank you to the families who have supported their child during their time at LEPS and attended last night's graduation. It has been a wonderful partnership between home and school.

A huge thank you to Kristian and Hannah for their work preparing the students for secondary school in their last year at LEPS. Other staff have also played an important part in educating the students in previous years and I would also like to acknowledge their hard work too.

Thanks to Kristian and Hannah for ensuring last night was a memorable one for the students. Both staff members have spent countless hours preparing the students for the evening with dance practises, preparation of the graduation book, practising for the official ceremony, arranging seating for the dinner, ordering gifts, preparing certificates and ordering prizes . . . the list goes on. Special mention to Grace who continued dance rehearsals once Hannah went on leave,

Kristian also prepared the celebration video which required a lot of time filming and editing out of school hours. It is a very special keepsake.

Thanks to Amanda, Pauline and Natalie for arranging the food and drinks for the students. Thanks to Luis for his work on the graduation book prior to going on leave. Thanks to specialist staff for arranging the awards. A massive thanks to all the staff who took time out of their busy personal lives to attend the graduation and celebrate the achievements of our students.

Thanks to Lilly Nguyen (mother of Evan) and Shifaa Dirany (mother of Banin) for helping with the set up and making sure the gym was looking its best. Thanks to Miss D's Mum for sewing out gorgeous new silver backdrop so we don't need to use black plastic any more!

Well done to Artin, Banin, Aleena and Yousef for their incredible work hosting our celebration. Their last offical job as our 2025 School Captains and they nailed it!

Our students are incredibly lucky to have so many adults who care about them and want them to have special memories of their time at LEPS. As they say, 'It takes a village to raise a child' and our 'village' gave the students an incredible send off last night!
