Hi everyone, 

Hope you are keeping well. 

I look forward to seeing some of you next Wednesday at the Parents and Carers afternoon tea featuring Helen Tainsh (and Julie, school speech pathologist)!

I will be there also, chatting a bit about using the NDIS to access support for your child's communication.

NDIS Updates

There have been some updates regarding the Thriving Kids program in NSW this week, however we've not had any more information about what this will look like in Victoria yet.

Additionally, following announcements last fortnight from the federal budget, I know that many of you may be feeling anxious about the coming changes. These changes will not come into effect until April 2027, and if the changes will affect your child's plan, you will be contacted in advance by the NDIS about this. 

 If you would like to talk about this in more detail, you are welcome to come by the Family Support office on a Wednesday or Friday, email me at katherine.coller@education.vic.edu.au or call the office to book in an appointment with me.
