The Year 1 and 2 students learnt about the art elements of line and shape and how to apply watercolour paint while creating these vibrant James Rizzi inspired birds. 

Art Show - 28th May

It is almost time for our annual Art Show for the Grades 3 to 6 students! The Art show takes place in Education Week (Week 6) and will be open on Education open evening Thursday 28/5. If you are in Grades 3 to 6 and enjoy doing Art outside of school, we would love to show case your talent! Please start bringing in your work from next Monday 4/5. Artwork can be delivered to the Art room on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday before school. Please make sure each art piece is clearly labelled with your name and grade. Artwork can be any medium and topic and is limited to 2 pieces per student. Any questions please come and see Heidi in the Art room. 

Help us find a name for our cow!

 We have decided to extend the Picasso Cow naming competition until Thursday 28 May. Our cow will be available in the Art room to add your name entries, and it will be in the hallway near the kitchen on open night. Please limit your entries to one per student and make your writing neat so our judge Jen McCann can read your name suggestion.
