Many families are aware of the exciting new playground project currently being funded by the P&F Committee. In addition to this, the Fete Committee has set an ambitious goal of raising $53,229 towards a second brand-new playground, planned for installation before 2027.
Together, these two playground projects will transform our outdoor spaces and provide incredible new opportunities for students to play, learn, connect and grow. This additional playground will create a modern, engaging and inclusive play space that will benefit our children for years to come.
This year's fete is bigger and better than ever, with new and improved rides, amusements and skill testers provided plus an expanded range of food trucks and delicious food options for the whole family to enjoy.
Every ride enjoyed, ticket purchased, meal shared and volunteer hour contributed at this year's fete will help bring this exciting vision to life. See more info below:
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following stalls:
• BBQs• Devonshire Tea & Cakes• Donuts, Sno Cones & Ice Cream• Lolly Shop & Show Bags• Lob-a-Choc• Arts & Crafts• Social Media, Communications and Treasurer
To achieve our fundraising goal, we need the support of our entire school community. Helpers are essential to the success of the fete, and without enough helpers, this second playground project may not be possible.
Get involved! Speak to Hannah Lehman or email fete@holyspiritparish.org.au with your contact details.
Take advantage of our Early Bird Special on all-day ride wristbands, along with exclusive first-release offers available for a limited time.

We can't wait to celebrate with you and create an unforgettable day for our school community while working together to deliver not one, but two fantastic new playgrounds for our children.

A huge thank you to all our families who donated mystery jars for this year’s competition. We were overwhelmed by the creativity, generosity and effort shown across the school. We know the students are excited to discover all the wonderful surprises inside!
This year’s event was our biggest yet, with an incredible 907 jars collected and more than 20 helpers supporting on the day to help everything run smoothly. It was fantastic to see such strong community involvement. THANK YOU!
The competition was a great success with classrooms competing to collect the most jars relative to their class size.
🏆 And our winning classes are:
🥇 1st Place: Prep RL – 108 jars (average 5.4 jars per student)
2nd Place: 2MT🥉
3rd Place: Prep JO
Prizes:🥇 1st Place: Pizza Lunch🥈 2nd Place: Hot Chips🥉 3rd Place: Slurpee Vouchers
We would also like to extend a very special thank you to Nicole Bruges, who has headed and coordinated the Mystery Jars Day for many years. Her ongoing dedication, time and commitment have played a huge role in making this event such a success year after year.
Congratulations to all our winners and thank you again to every class and family who contributed. Your support made this such a fun and successful fundraiser. We can’t wait to celebrate with the prize lunches and look forward to another amazing Mystery Jar Day next year! 🎉

The Holy Spirit Fete can't happen without the support of our wonderful school community. As we work towards raising funds for a second new playground, we're looking for helpers, stall leaders and committee members to help bring this exciting event to life.
Whether you can help with planning, preparations, communications or on the day itself, we'd love to hear from you. No previous fete experience is required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.
Interested? Email fete@holyspiritparish.org.au with your contact details to learn more about becoming a Stall Leader, committee member or helper.
Every helping hand brings us one step closer to another fantastic fete—and another fantastic playground for our students.
Without help the Jam Stall will close. We’re looking for someone to step in as our Jam Stall Coordinator this year.
If you can help coordinate, please email fete@holyspiritparish.org.au.
Not able to coordinate? You can still help by making jam or cutting and freezing fruit for later. Contact Yvette on 040 787 3432 or collins.yvette8@gmail.com.
Recipes, jars, and support are all provided — every jar counts! 🍯
