Parish Luncheon

Our community is also warmly invited to attend the Parish Luncheon to be held on Sunday 28th June from 12:30pm to 3pm at the Malvern Town Hall. Melbourne Oratory Project

At the end of lat year Archbishop Peter A Comensoli of Melbourne announced the establishment of the Melbourne Oratory Project of St Philip Neri within the parishes of Malvern, Malvern East and Glen Iris. Beginning on 16 November 2025, Fr Michael Gallacher, together with seminarians Anthony Wright and Patrick Harris, formed a new priestly community inspired by the spirituality of St Philip Neri, focused on prayer, fraternity, and service. This marks the first step towards become a fully established Oratory, supporting the pastoral life and mission of our local Church. Please take some time to read the letter from the Archbishop.
