Foundation News

On Wednesday, 21 August, Foundation students had a wonderful time exploring the Melbourne Zoo. We were proud of the independence students showed to get on the bus for their very first excursion. 

We were lucky enough to have lesson run by zookeepers to learn about the baby tortoises and got to meet some in a small enclosure. It was a big day of walking and excitement, the highlights were the majestic gorillas, the hiding snow leopard, beautiful butterflies, and acrobatic seals that entertained and excited all the students. 

Back on the bus a few students and teachers had a well-deserved snooze before returning to school. The teachers would like to thank all the parent helpers that came along, your assistance was fantastic.
