Upcoming KAPS Event
Join us from 4-6pm, Sunday 26th April, at our upcoming ‘Games afternoon’. Grandparents are welcome and encouraged to attend (but if they can’t make it, that’s still fine... just come along with your parents/ carers). It is the afternoon before school returns so won’t be a late one... just a great opportunity to see friends and have some fun! See you then!
Blessings,
Georgie
School Holiday Activity
The State library of South Australia is offering “Waxing with Words” a workshop with children’s author Glenda Millard.
Step into a gentle, imaginative world as families are invited to experience The Duck and the Darklings with beloved author Glenda Millard.
In this session, Glenda brings her moving story of hope and kindness to life, showing how the right words can warm a page, lift a moment, and help a story shine.
Young listeners will discover how she chooses words that feel soft, surprising, and full of possibility - and then have a chance to create their own.
Suitable for children 8 to 12 years of age, being held on Wednesday the 15th April from 10.30am – 11.30am in the Circulating Library.
Cost is $5 per person and bookings are essential. Further information and bookings can be found at https://www.slsa.sa.gov.au/events/waxing-words

These are 2 incredible projects we have on offer term 1 holidays.
**Box frame and glass painting. Perspective art at another level 👌
OR
**Mixed media drawing portraits. This one is a lot of fun with simple technique with incredible results.
(If your child would like to participate but there isn't a time/age category that suits please let me know.)
