Keeping your child active during the holidays:
Keep children active during school holidays is very important and FREE. You can do this by blending structured outings with daily, creative home activities like backyard scavenger hunts, dance parties, and obstacle courses. Establish a loose routine that includes morning exercise and afternoon free play to manage screen time while encouraging engagement in activities like swimming, biking, or local park visits
Outdoor Adventure & Nature Activities Ideas:
- Scavenger Hunts: Organise backyard or park hunts for natural items (leaves, rocks, shells).
- Active Games: Play tag, frisbee, relay races, or balloon volleyball.
- Nature Trails & Cycling: Explore local bike trails or nature parks for hiking, notes.
- DIY Obstacle Courses: Set up courses using household items like cushions, hula hoops, and boxes.
We hope you have a great Easter long weekend and lovely school holiday break.
