This term, our inquiry learning investigation is focused on geography and is titled Our Australia. Students have been reading, writing, researching and learning about many aspects of Australia. So far, they have explored the various Aboriginal and Indigenous groups across Australia, and identified the states and territories, capital cities, and famous natural landmarks on a map of Australia.

They have also been busy researching and writing informative reports about the states, territories and capital cities. In 3/4A, students have been reading and learning about the native Australian animal, the numbat, which feeds on termites and is sadly on the verge of becoming extinct.

In late May, students will visit Healesville Sanctuary to help bring their learning together.
