Music Department 

Things in the Music Department are off to an incredibly dynamic start this year! 

The ensemble rehearsals are in full swing, which is setting a great collaborative environment for everyone. Some Senior students had the opportunity to participate in the APRA-AMCOS SongMakers Program, with the challenge of composing and recording their own songs in just two days!

Looking ahead, the Performing Arts Night in Week 6 and the 80s Film Hits School Showcase Concert in Week 8 are definitely events to look forward to. With 8 schools from across the region, it sounds like there will be some fantastic performances to see. Plus, the start of the Instrumental Soirees in Term 2, beginning with voice in Week 4, will add even more opportunities for students to showcase their talent.
