Another example of successful student engagement as they worked in pairs to learn how to make pasta – shapes/style of their own choice as well as using fresh Roma tomatoes to make one of the simplest and most delicious pasta sauces you can make.
The students only had 2 periods to make and rest the pasta, cook the sauce until it was thick with lots of basil to give the sauce an authentic Italian flavour. The staff who happened to walk in were delighted by the wonderful aromas that permeated the kitchen. Of course, in between cleaning up, the students couldn’t wait until the bell to get stuck into their pasta ‘deliziosa’!
