BE INVOLVED, BE CONNECTED

THANK YOU!

A huge thank you to Michael Grech, James Tutton, Alicia Carson, Troy Muir, Steve Shaw and student, Jasper Shaw for their tireless work barrowing mulch onto our gardens. Your support of our school is greatly appreciated! Alicia has also added some beautiful natives to the First Nations garden – thank you, Alicia!

OUTSTANDING NAPLAN RESULTS

I am delighted to share that our students have achieved outstanding results in NAPLAN this year, outperforming similar schools (similar demographics) in 7 of the 10 domains. Our results show significant growth and are amongst the best growth results in the State. I am incredibly proud of our staff for their dedication and commitment to evidence-informed practice, as well as our Leadership Team for their vision and drive.

PRINCIPALS’ DAY

Sam, Johanne, Melanie and I want to sincerely thank you all for your generous gifts and kind words on Principals’ Day. We felt acknowledged and very grateful to be working in such a supportive school community.

AIR-CONDITIONING

As you may know, we are utilising last year’s fundraising dollars and some of this year’s to contribute to the installation of air-conditioning. We are currently awaiting our final quote. I look forward to sharing a start date with you, in the coming months. How lovely it will be to teach and learn in comfort this summer!

SYNTHETIC TURF – TERRACE

I am also pleased to confirm that the remainder of this year’s fundraising dollars will be used to create a large green space on the terrace for our Prep and Year One students to eat and play. The likely start date will be late October/November.
