Hi all
Friday’s Lightning Premiership was cancelled due to the weather and will be rescheduled for Term 2. We will let parents know as soon as we find out.
The Year 3 to 6 basketball program has just finished. It’s a great sport to get involved in and we are very fortunate that we have many choices for local clubs in domestic competitions. This week we have practised the high jump, broad jump and triple jump. (The broad jump is a standing long jump that was once in the Olympics!) This is all preparation for the St Louis Athletics Day to be held in the first week of term 2 on Wednesday, 22nd April
Our Preps to Year 2 are learning how to bounce, roll, throw and catch a variety of sizes and shapes of balls. They are also learning to play games for their big Junior Sports Day to be held on Wednesday, 1st April. Parents are most welcome to come down and cheer on the kids.
