The Year 6 Lightning Premiership
The Lightning premiership was cancelled today due to predicted bad weather. It will be rescheduled in early Term 2
Fruit Stall on Wednesday 1 April
Year 6 students will be holding a fruit stall at lunchtime for a gold coin donation. The money will go to Project Compassion.
Parent/Teacher Conference
On Tuesday, 31 March, we will be holding the second day of our Term 1 parent-teacher interviews. Please make sure you have booked a time to meet with your child’s class teacher/s.
Easter Bonnet Parade Prep – Year 2
On Wednesday, 1 April, the P-2 students will participate in the annual Easter Bonnet Parade. It will be held on the basketball court starting at 9 am. Parents are most welcome.
Prep – 2 Junior Athletic Carnival
On Wednesday, 1 April at 11.50 am, the Junior athletic carnival will be held on the oval at St Louis. All parents are welcome.
P&F Easter Egg Raffle
On Thursday, 2 April, we will be holding our annual Easter egg raffle at 12 pm in the hall. Parents are welcome.
ANZAC Day merchandise
We will be selling ANZAC merchandise this coming week. Please refer to the ANZAC Day page in this newsletter for more information.
Railway Crossing update:
Station Street:- From Thursday, 30 April, the Station Street level crossing will be permanently closed. Local access maintained to Scope Disability Services.
Until Thursday 2 April, 7 am to 7 pm each day. Please note we previously advised this section of Station Street would be closed until Wednesday, 1 April. Due to recent wet weather, this has changed.
Construction of new roundabout - Station Street closed between Attenborough Road and James Avenue. Detours via James Avenue and Eulinga Avenue. Local traffic will have driveway access. Please expect delays and plan ahead. Pedestrian access, with minor detours and delays.
Temporary no standing zones on Mill Street, James Avenue and Eulinga Avenue. At times until late 2026
Thursday 30 April to Thursday 21 May Level crossing removal works Station Street closed between the level crossing and Attenborough Road. Pedestrian access over the rail line will be maintained, and locations may change. Please follow signage and detours
End of Term 1 / Start of Term 2
On Thursday, 2 April, school will finish for the term holidays at 1 pm. It will be a free dress day after the success of the bike challenge hosted by some of our year 6 students.
Term 2 will commence on Tuesday, 21 April at usual. Students can wear either their full summer uniform or full winter uniform until Monday, 4 May, when all students MUST wear full winter uniform.
