Term 3 Sport Wrap-Up

Term 3 has been another huge term of sport, with our students representing the school across netball, badminton, rugby, basketball, athletics and volleyball. Competition across all sports was extremely competitive, and it was fantastic to see our students continue to challenge themselves, support their teammates and represent the school with pride.

A major highlight of the term came at Athletics, where we had an outstanding 12 individual event winners, along with our Under 13 Boys Relay Team, all of whom will now advance to the Regional Championships. A special congratulations goes to each of these athletes on their fantastic achievements and performances. We wish them all the very best as they represent the school at the next level!

Sport hasn’t just been happening outside the school gates either. Our lunchtime activities have been packed every day, with students making the most of the opportunity to get active, compete with their mates and enjoy some friendly rivalry. The level of participation throughout the term has been fantastic to see.

Speaking of friendly rivalry, Term 3 also featured the highly anticipated Staff vs Students Basketball Match. Despite plenty of confidence from the students beforehand, experience prevailed as the staff walked away with a convincing 34–17 victory. The students may have youth on their side, but apparently the staff still have a few tricks left in the tank! 

A massive thank you to all students who participated throughout Term 3, as well as the staff who gave their time to coach, supervise and support our teams. It has been an extremely busy and competitive term, and everyone involved should be proud of their contribution.
