RU OK? Day

R U OK? Day – Looking Out for Each Other 💛

R U OK? Day was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and recognise the importance of mental health, connection and looking out for one another.

A big thank you to the Rescue Relief Team for joining us and generously providing a sausage sizzle for our whole school. Their support helped create a welcoming and positive atmosphere where students and staff could connect, have a chat and enjoy some time together.

R U OK? Day reminds us that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health. Everyone experiences challenges, stress and difficult days at times, and having someone who is willing to listen can make a real difference.

The simple question “Are you OK?” can be the beginning of an important conversation. We encourage our students to check in with their friends, notice when someone may not be themselves, and remember that it is okay to ask for help when things aren't going well.

At school, students can reach out to a trusted staff member or the Wellbeing Team for support. You don't have to face things alone.

Thank you to everyone who helped make R U OK? Day a positive reminder of the importance of connection, kindness, support and looking after our mental health.
