Australian History Competition 2026

Congratulations to the Year 7 and 8 students who competed in the 2026 Australian History Competition in Term 2. Optional academic competitions are an excellent way to extend students who are have particular interest areas or skills and are after a new challenge.

Students from around the country participated in this competition so well done to our Heathmont College students who were CURIOUS enough to have a go at representing our school COMMUNITY on a national stage. Results and certificates have recently been delivered to the school and distributed to students.

Special congratulations to Kieren H-F from Year 7 who was awarded a 'Merit' and Mariana E from Year 9 who was awarded a 'Distinction'.
