Swimming Pool
We have had a few issues with our new swimming pool over the past couple of weeks. Hopefully these are now fixed and we are looking forward to settling in to the weekly program. Our apologies to those families who sent in bathers and swim gear and then the program was cancelled on the day. Starting next week, all classes across the school will be participating in the program. Notices will be sent home today with primary and secondary students notifying you of your child's swimming day.

Start and end of day safety
Just a reminder that the driving speed in the school driveways is 5km/hour to ensure that all children, family members and staff are able to safely move in and out of school.
It's great to see our drop off and pick up zone being so well used. This usually moves through fairly quickly. You may have a short wait for a car park to become available. Please be patient.
A reminder to avoid parking in 'no standing' zones on Belmont Road East. Council parking inspectors have issued fines.

We have the following special events coming up this term.
Book Week will be during the week starting Monday 18th of August. Have a look in the Notices & Flyers section of this newsletter to find out more about our special dress up day!
On Wednesday 10th of September we will have our Croydon SDS RUOK day focussing on wellbeing and mental health for students and staff.
On Thursday 11th of September we will hold our annual footy day. Please save this date as we would love to have families join in with the fun.
