St Mary’s Choir hits the road

On Wednesday 17th June St Mary’s Choir visited Echuca Community for the Aged to share the love of song. Our gifts of song and conversation were in full swing as we presented a repertoire of songs to the residents, including a request of ‘Keep a dream in your pocket’ by the Seekers!

Crowd participation was in full swing as we taught the residents some of our actions and move.

Gratitude is extended to the parent volunteers who supported us on this excursion: Terri, Jac and Tom.

I have no doubt that all hearts were full as we left the building.

We look forward to continuing the connection as we visit throughout the year.

 NAIDOC Week

This morning all learners gathered in the Year level shared space to unite in prayer to recognise NAIDOC week.

The acronym NAIDOC stands for the National Aboriginal and Islanders Day Observance Committee.

NAIDOC Week is an annual Australian observance that celebrates the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC Week runs from Sunday 5th July to Sunday 12th July 2026.

Family Tree

Family matters because it roots you, shapes you, and connects you to something larger than yourself. A Family Tree makes those connections visible - it turns abstract heritage into a living map of identity, belonging, and continuity.

Tatum (Year 6) has represented his Family Tree using great colour and mapping all of which acknowledging his roots.

A magnificent representation and one that reflects a beautiful history.
