PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear Holy Spirit Community School,
Our 50th birthday week is finally here! We are so excited! We have open classrooms this Friday, our big Birthday party at The Coach this Saturday night and a special 50th Birthday Mass at the church on Sunday morning! It’s going to be a big week!!
We would love for you to join us this Saturday 8th of August. We welcome you to come to The Coach (only a 7-minute drive from the school!) and join us for a fun night of celebrations. Grab your friends, dust off your dancing shoes and help us celebrate 50 amazing years of community, friendship and social spirit. We will have a DJ, food platters and birthday cake. The P & F and school can’t wait to celebrate with you all! Details and tickets sales links are listed below. It should be a fantastic and fun night for all!
Could You Be Our Next P&F *Treasurer* or *Vice President*?
Our amazing Treasurer and Vice President are finishing up at the end of the year, and we're looking for two enthusiastic parents to join our P&F Committee.
*Treasurer* – Help keep our finances on track and support the great work of the P&F. A handover and ongoing support will be provided.
*Vice President* – Support the President, work alongside a fantastic committee, and help bring events and initiatives to life.
These are rewarding volunteer roles that make a real difference to our school community. No previous committee experience is required, just a willingness to get involved!
If you'd like to learn more or are interested in either position, please speak to Georgette or any of our current P&F committee members. We'd love to have you on the team!
We are also on the lookout for General Members to join us. You can even come to one of our monthly meetings and see all the work we do behind the scenes, and how we run the P and F Association. We always welcome new faces and new ideas. If you have a passion and interest to help our school community and be involved in the fundraising/social side of the school, I would love to hear from you!

BURNT BRIDGE BAKERY LUNCH ORDER DAY
Thank you so much for all your lunch orders. We have received 277 lunch orders. We appreciate your support on our food days and hope all the students love eating their bakery lunch on the 14th of August.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB AND BOOK FAIR 2026
Monday 24th August & Tuesday 25th August – Scholastic Book Fair
Calling all bookworms… the Scholastic Book Fair is back!
Get ready to explore a fantastic selection of books, discover new favourites and bring home some exciting reads!
During the week prior, students will have the opportunity to browse the Book Fair and create their wish lists before sales begin.
The Book Fair will be open for purchases:
Monday, 24 August
8:30am – 9:30am
3:00pm – 4:00pm
Tuesday, 25 August
8:30am – 9:30am
3:00pm – 4:00pm
Please note: EFT payments only - no cash accepted.
Purchases are optional.
Want to support our school library?
Families also have the option to purchase a book to donate to the school. If you’d like to contribute, please let our team know at the time of purchase so we can keep a record of your generous donation.
Volunteers needed! We'd love some help with set up, pack down and assisting with sales across both days. If you're available, please sign up here:
2nd HAND UNIFORM SHOP
We are still seeking winter uniform donations. If you have any winter items you would like to donate please drop them off in the bins located outside the P & F room. We also sell our Holy Spirit winter beanies at the uniform shop for $19.45 each. Our next uniform shop is running on Friday the 14th of August.
LOST PROPERTY
Please come and check lost property to see if your child has misplaced anything at school. We will be cleaning out Lost Property over the coming weeks! We will take any unlabelled clothes to the uniform shop.
