Principal's Report 

Dear Parents, Guardians and Father Arsenio,

It is with great pleasure that I am one of many celebrating our 50th anniversary this week. To be only the fifth principal in this time suggests that my predecessors not only enjoyed lengthy tenures, they also left me to steward a great school. I hope that at some point over the three days you may join in the festivities. The billboard at the front of the school has all the details.

Production preparations are well and truly underway. I expect the tickets to be on sale within the next week or so. I would love to get some feedback on whether we should restrict sales per family to begin with or simply open them for sale with no restrictions. There will be only 1200 tickets in total and when gone, they are gone. All feedback welcome.

As indicated earlier this week 2027 budgeting has been impacted on several fronts. I am working with MACS staff to establish what it looks like on the ground for next year. Once this has been conformed, rest assured I will be in touch.

We have recently had a number of exploding squishies at school. Unfortunately, when these toys split open, they release a sticky gel that is very difficult to clean and can damage furniture, carpets and learning materials. They have also caused disruptions to learning and upset some students.

To help keep our classrooms safe and focused, we ask that squishies (including gel-filled and exploding squishies) are not brought to school. If they are brought to school, they will be collected by staff and returned to students at the end of the day. We appreciate your support in reminding your child to leave these toys at home. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, clean and positive learning environment for everyone.
