Specialist Subjects

DigiTech - Cam Taylor

Students will learn to recognise that humans are animals and explore similarities and differences in their features compared to other animals.


Art - Cherise Le Brocq-Joppich

In Term Three, Foundation children will be making artworks using different materials and techniques, including creating models that express their observations and imagination. The students will identify the main subject of their artworks and discuss the story of these works.

Music - Stacie Mason

Students will explore expressive techniques used in music, learning how dynamics (volume) and tempo (speed) are used in music. Students will use these concepts to create music that represents different animals. 

Songs will include Walk and Stop and Little Mouse Be Careful. 


Indonesian – Bu Jaqui

I am excited to finally meet our Foundation students this term and begin their journey learning Indonesian at St Francis of the Fields. Students will begin learning about Indonesia, how to introduce themselves and basic vocabulary including numbers and colours.


PE – Luke Freeman and Class Teachers

Students will participate in a perceptual motor program that focuses on balance and movement through twisting, turning, and bending. They will also develop the fundamental movement skills of underarm throwing and kicking through free exploration and minor games using a variety of soft, small, and large throwing and kicking equipment.
