Self-Awareness and Management

We will focus on building resilience and independence with our students. We hope that you will hear your child using these terms as they talk about their day with you. We will become problem solvers as we discover different choices we can make, manage our feelings, and build on our ability to take small actions ourselves. 

We will be reading books and participating in role play scenarios to practice our learning. You can assist the development of resilience and independence by encouraging your children to pack and unpack their own bags, walk into the classroom all by themselves, and if desired by the family, even use the drop off zone!
