Rime vs Rhyme:

In Foundation, we are learning about rime. Rime is the spelling choice or pattern that makes a sound at the end of a word. For example, ‘where’ and ‘bear’ rhyme, but they don't have the same rime (the spelling choices are 'ere' and ‘ear'), where as where

and there rhyme, and have the same spelling choice 'ere' (rime). We often call these word families eg; ‘at’ - cat, mat, splat.
