Mrs Rachel Caskey - Sports Co-Ordinator

Our school swimming carnival was held last Friday and was a smashing success! With some sensational swimming, encouragement of others and team spirit. One of the highlights for me was seeing our Kindies and Yr1's swimming full and half laps, incredible!

The parent relay is always a fun event and didn’t disappoint.

A huge thank you to staff, our P&F committee, parents and grandparents for all your help on the day, you are superstars and we couldn't run the event so smoothly without you!

Congratulations to all our Age Champions and Runners up and to all students who swam and cheered, helping their house gain points. Well done to Hughes! The winning House on the day.

Next week we will start a 4 week Tennis Coaching Clinic on Wednesdays. The Northwest Tennis Academy will come and coach the students at the Barraba Tennis Courts. Please keep an eye out for the Compass event for more information and to give consent.

We've had a great response to the 3 week Hockey Competition in Tamworth on Monday nights. We now have a team and will start some training sessions next week.

The Winter Trials are coming up this term. This is for yr 6 students and talented yr 5's only and they can trial in Netball, Soccer, Rugby League or Hockey. They will be held in Armidale on Friday 6th March. Eligible students will receive information next week.

Keep soaring!
